Little Robin Hood by Boomer911Comment: I love the capture, but the processing is a little overdone for my taste. Lovely littel story |

daydreamby JutildaComment: Pretty picture, nice DoF and composition. The colour tones are an odd cross over between warm and cool, suggesting a serious little girl wise beyond her years who finds fun in more intelectual endevours ? maybe? |

Timelessby JutildaComment: You have done a wonderful job of making the unappealing attractive as personaly don't like the raw subject material and without the treatments wouldn't give it a second glance.
The balance is slightly off centre and this gives it a kind of discord that draws the me in. If the images were moved slightly to the left the diagonal run would give it more energy but it would be at the cost of that engaging discord. The colour palet is warm and lively while the subject mater is in the process of begining to die. The text is elegant (perhaps to exacting). For me the word anchors the entire image to the time of death.
My interpretation of this is "Your a long time dead". Only it's not in a way that says go make an fool of yourself, it is championing the benefits of living a life of integrity. |

Canaan Smithby MinsoPhotoComment: Love the lights above his head and the body language. It would be nice to have a little more space in front of the finger and a little less on the right side of the image, I can see why you have it to keep the head of the gat. Personality plus. |

no.8 - March 2013 - Anything Goes - at thirlmere rail museumby rozComment: Love the processing, I would have cropped a little more of the right hand side of the frame, go for an older 4X5 format. There is something quiet awkward looking about the standing guys pose, arms in a different direction to feet makes it feel somewhat unnatural and aranged perhaps. |
