Windshield Testing @ 120 MPHby RasaiComment: Originally posted by RedHotKK: Please don't do that again. It is dangerous enough to drive 120 mph without trying to take a picture while doing it! I don't know how you managed to get a picture like this without a blur when going so fast. Bye the way...your clock must be wrong...and my brother always gives me a bad time about my clocks being off. At least I don't advertise it in a photograph for all to see. |
After seeing this I'm sure he never will again! |

I tried different exposures and they did not produce the sharp focus I was after on the gauges. I've found it hard to get much motion blur doing this sort of shot... It's usually a big trade off. I noticed that you did it effectively with your âDriveâ picture in the Motion blur challenge. Iâll try some of your suggestions to see if I can perfect shots like this. |

Windshield Testing @ 120 MPHby RasaiComment: Thank you for your votes and comments. I achieved one of my goals with this entry. To submit a photo that people doubt as being 'real' & knowing that if it were recommended for disqualification it would be validated as such, even if the basic editing rules were in place for this challenge. It's a shame it wasn't recommended for DQ within the first few minutes as the score tended to go up from the point in time it was validated. I am working on a "How I did it" for those of you that wondered. I've SAFELY taken hundreds of photos while riding. Perhaps someone else might be inspired to do it safely and sanely. I can only help with the safe part of it.
As far as it being so light at âAM 1:30â. The battery died while out on the ride and I could not get the clock adjusted safely while riding⦠so I left it⦠it was not meant to be a Red Herring yet it was noticed by many.

Ewww, sniff the Skunk Cabbage bud. It's Powerful!by sfaliceComment: I'll take your word on its fragerance having never seen one .. The picture DOES NOT STINK ! It's fine! Well done with the subtle light & sharp detail. I also enjoy seeing the background - many of the pictures on the site using a totally black background lose the essence... (pardon the pun). |

Squatsby TimboMacheteComment: Were the model standing the photo would have been a much more effective example of strength. |
