Black Hatby C_Steve_GComment: A little more light on the bottom and rear of the helmet might be better. you should've also moved the helmet a little farther from the background, I can see the black background on the top of the frame. This is a good idea, having the helmet coming out of the darkness, but it could be better. |

End of winter on a roof...by RebTheRebelComment: Too much of the shot is out of focus. I would've liked to see more texture, the lighting on the pine cone, or whatever that is is under strong light, that causes the dark shadow which I don't like very much. |

rose in b&wby shutterflyComment: The lighting is a little too harsh. I would like to see more texture, too much of the area is under deep shadow, or too brightly lit. I do see what you were trying to do with the lighting, and it is a good idea, but I think the shot could've been better. |

falling lightby f0rTyLeGzComment: The border is too thick, I would rather see more of the image than the border. I like the photo, the streaming rays of light are great. Having a ship way out in the distance would help the photo, it would show the scale of everything. |

Sunrise - Panorama Pointby f-32Comment: The lighting is too harsh, that causes you to lose a lot of detail in the shaded areas. Shooting this at a different time of day would help, although I don't know if that was possible. |

Tree Branchby wee_agComment: The DOF is a little too shallow I think. The dark parts of the image look a little underexposed, because of that a lot of the detail of the texture is lost. |
