Horsedrawn Holiday Funby StuckOnTheFarmComment: I like your compostition and especially the low camera position on this image. It works really well. Nice colors and a very pretty winter scene. 7 from me. |

Cold Decemberby DsealeComment: The oranges of the sunset contrast wonderfully with the blues of the ice, making them look even bluer. Very nice. |

vagabondby arsenalComment: I like the contrasty post-processing that you have done here. It realy suits the mood of the image. I think the chain link fence, though busier than I would normally prefer for a portrait, really works here, too. It all makes such a busy and rough texture that gives the image a kind of grittiness that seems to really go with the subject matter. 7 from me. |

Red River Inlet at Full Ebbby Bear_MusicComment: Interesting and beautiful colors. I like the lines and blocks (for lack of a better word) of color and texture created by all of the elements in this image. Very nice seen and composed. |

Young Divaby albc28Comment: Beautiful lighting! Wonderful job finding soft but directional light outdoors. Your colors are very nice. I like the reflection in her glasses with the blown out sky and the plams. It is striking and maybe even a little off-putting at first, but I think that really gives mood to the image (and goes with your title). 7 from me. |

Winter 2006 - Laguna Beach, Californiaby ralfwComment: THe only thing I wish were different on this image would be to not have the island cutting through the figure of the child. I think it is distracting and a little confusing. Maybe it would also be nice to have his arm extended a tiny bit to seperate it from his body so that we can see it. That is the tough part about silohuettes. Other than those two small things, this image is total perfection. A wonderful profile so we can see the boy's features. Nice highlights on the water and still some detail in the shadows (on my monitor). Great angle to put the boy's head above the horizon. Overall nice balance and a sweet, calm mood. Very nice. 8 from me. |

Still My Favorite Mountains by dsidwellComment: Beautiful black and white. FOr some reason, I especially like the fence taking up the lower corner of the frame. Beautiful job with your dynamic range and black and white conversion. 8 from me. |

Hardened by Life by SpizzerComment: I think I would have cropped more off the top on this one. Probably all of the pink part sof the hat, so just the horizontal hat band was along the top of the frame. The lighting and contrasty post-processing give great texture to his beard and the lines of his face. It really tells a story. 8 from me. |

A Look of Innocenceby nixterComment: Very interesting and pretty lighting, coming in from both sides. Her eyes really sparkle with the 'double' catchlights. I like the lines of the compostion very much. The line of the back of her arm, to me, is like an inverted reflection of the line of the right side of her face. I hope that makes sense :) ANyway, I really like this. 8 from me. |
