On The Job (as a watchdog)by MadMan2kComment: Cute doggie but then again im a bit bias. Unfortuantely if the rott was a bit lighter and less over contrast this would have a more impact. |

Strength of Natureby arlanbartComment: The border is a bit thick for this. I have been accused of many "bad borders" So I'm sure that this photo will be rated lower because of the border. However, putting the border aside and not the photo. The sepia reminds me of old time photos where everyone was "strong" hence the stregnth challenge, the subject of a tree growing around a boulder is also very strong. I like the photo and rate it an 8. But the border that is a bit to bold for this photo. |

Strength and powerby Dim7Comment: So with the religious theme, i'm sure you'll get either people that love it or people that hate it, I don't hate it but don't love it either. for composure 5 for subject 3. |

Strong Enough?by scottwilsonComment: Sorry but the feet are not nice to look at, the book is not level and the eggs would probably break because they are not on end, but who cares if they break. I think that this would rate higher if it was in b&w and you adjusted the rotation of the photo to put the book at a straight horizoon. The whites seem to be a bit washed out on the book so B&W would sort of be a more dramatic effect...and the feet, well.. umm.. yeah. |

Tribute: Thomas Alva Edisonby re2stComment: This would be better suited if the "soft white" was white and not yellow. Also, I'm not sure how this relates to strength, but maybe it's me. |

Deadly strenghtby HaKiComment: Yeah... Unfortunately this has some text on it and it distracts from the canon. Perhaps a more angular shot of the canon would be better suited for this photo. I would have approached this from the ground up on an angle to show power (submissive when on the bottom) and that would also be in line with the challenge.
The title is also mispelled. |
