Pacific Daybreak by DrAchooComment: Strong image, the several curves of the shore and the sky make it very attractive. A bit overprocessed and oversharpened imo, but still a very good work. |

The Mistby sir_bazzComment: Superb work, the long exposure is beautiful, just as the contrasting colors. The curved horizon is the icing on the cake (fish eye ?) |

Nearsetby mgarsteckComment: Simple and elegant, the 2 vertical lines above the horizon (aerial) are a bit distracting (attracting the eye on something unimportant) |

Country Sunsetby magenmarieComment: Sunset?
Seems to be at noon ! The light is way too harsh, could be better with the sun hidden by a trunk.
The lens flares are very annoying here... |

Sand Drawingsby PeterPicComment: Different and rather good.
Even the lens flares are in the right places! |

The early birdsby LiamD2005Comment: Good subject globally, but lens flare and lack of sharpness are spoiling it. Can't rate it very high, sorry. |

The Handrail Walkerby MelonMusketeerComment: Good composition (although the pier near the horizon is a bit confusing)
Unfortunately, the whole shadows seem washed out, gray more than black, and the image lacks of contrast. A simple level's adjustment should fix that. |

The Rockies - What's in your backyard?by Nocturnal_DelusionComment: Fascinating image, it seems completely surreal, and that's perhaps the issue. Honestly, I doubt the sky is from the same capture, the light on the mountains (or the foreground) doesn't match the sky, and something in the sky's sharpness vs the mountain's and town's sharpness is also different. I hope I'm wrong - I rate it high for the moment.
If I'm wrong, you postprocessing is impressive. You could still improve it dodging the mountains - the town would better stand out. |
