I see blue and slight innuendo of purple, but "purple light?" The model's face is warmly lit, not suggestive of purple at all. Neither is the chain pull for the light. Nice composition but I feel as if the lampshade is the subject, not the light being emitted under or through it. I guess what I'm trying to say is the title could use improvement. Lampshade also appears slightly out of focus.

Nice focus and great contrast. The black background really makes the image pop! Lighting is excellent as well as I know how easy it is to overexpose these types of shots.

For some reason, the ripples look slightly slanted (uneven horizon). Also, The image seems a bit too tightly cropped. I'd have eased off a bit on the sides and shown more top. The center of the ripples seems to be smack dab in the center of your image and I'd liked to have seen more attention to the rule of thirds verticalwise.

The stack (or pile I should say) of lumber in the background looks like a potential avalanche or fire hazard. The chaotic nature leads my eyes straight to the upper left, ignoring the plastic furniture. I'd suggest a much less busy background or at least something scenic to add to the atmosphere and ambiance of "eating out" as your title suggests, rather than detracting from it.

The chips at the top of the frame seem to be in focus (background) while the closest chips in the foreground are blurry. I'd like to have seen a better composition or arrangement of chips, maybe a stack fanned out or a pyramid-like pile with 1 chip on top. Chips here appear totally random and the eyes wander all about, looking to find the focus of this image.

The purple looks natural but the aqua/teal color looks "out of place." The background also has the same hue resulting in a painted/watercolor look, rather than a photo.
