Several aspects make this shot stand out (lacy wings, crisp focus on the head, detail in the legs and body) the background sets it off very well. Composition is strong. One of my ribbon picks this challenge. Good luck

that background eye really is a bizzarre twist and makes the shot.. wish the Oakley wasn't there as my eye is drawn to it. Extra points for the creative composition.

I like the angle you've chosen and the many shades of blue that fill in your composition. Only negative is the size of the shot - a bit too small

Since I have an Assie with brown (soulful) eyes who would really like to have blue eyes - she requires a high score here ;)

Technically you have good dof - the tear duct detracts a bit, the lash over the iris give some interesting texture.
