Dirdy Birdyby jefalkComment: This is a really good image but no doubt you`ll have many comments on the fact that it`s more "motion blur" than "stopped action" which is a great shame as it probably won`t get the score it deserves because of that.
Great capture. |

Leaves in the windby arpitaComment: Simple but appealing image..just needs a little something extra (perhaps in the way of cropping) to give it the wow factor.
Nicely captured |

Let`s danceby geewhyComment: Originally posted by PaulMdx: I've been wondering and wondering which shot was yours, Graham! Score seems a little low to me, I think it deserved higher than 5.0.. With the kit you had - very nice work. |
Thanks Paul...I knew that I wouldn`t be scoring highly with this but I had hoped to finish between 5.5 & 6.
It`s a challenge that I probably should have sat out..given the limitations of my set-up and, just as importantly, the opportunities available to me (no daytime soccer).
Out of all the shots I took from the game,(and there were plenty), I thought that this one might do reasonably well since there was an element of humour in it which might help make up for some of the framing deficiences. It also captured an unusual event in that all but one of the opposition players are in the six yard box.
However, I think that most of those elements have been overlooked by the majority of voters, understandably I suppose if you have no knowledge of, or liking for, the sport. |

illusion by ursulaComment: Thought this might have suffered because there is no mirror evident in the picture..but so glad it didn`t.
