Fanned Illusionsby KylieComment: Love the technique and the way you`ve framed this Kylie.
I especially like the light playing on the leaves in the upper part of the big tree. |

I`ve been agonising over this image for a few days as I don`t know if I prefer it with the two boats or whether it would have had more impact (for me) with just figures in the foreground...I`m just looking for icing on the cake as with or without, it is still a great image |

I really like the way you`ve captured this with the child looking at the camera but the adult looking down..it helps to add a candid feel to the image.
I would have preferred a tighter crop (losing the hand) and a touch more sharpness to make this a top pick for me..but I`m bumping it up as it still has a lot to offer. |

Home on the rangeby pumaComment: Back to comment...
I get a good feel for the type of landscape you are portraying here...however, I think the image will suffer scorewise for not having a real point of focus.
Perhaps picking out one point of interest from what`s on view and shortening your depth of field to isolate it from the rest would add impact.
However, this is only my opinion and should be treated accordingly. |

Fantastic clarity & mix of colour and texture.
I also like the way you`ve divided the image into diagonal thirds.
Well done. |
