Ferruginous Hawk by riotComment: I thought I had seen all there was to see with the "Bird head shots" but this breaks new ground...unbelievably detailed.
Great work and a worthy blue.
Congratulations. |

Sunset Dreamby Judith PolakoffComment: The rich colours and patterns in the water really give the image impact.
Although the ducks seem unnaturally dark for the surroundings, it doesn`t spoil the overall effect for me in one of the best images I`ve seen so far.
Good luck. |

Jazz Silhouetteby dbensonComment: This is very nicely done in my opinion..allowing the light to catch parts of the trombone adds another dimension to what could have otherwise been just a "run of the mill" silhouette. |

Pasqueby frogletComment: Very nice image which suits the treatment given..the tiny water droplets add that extra interest which makes this picture rise above the normal.
Very nicely done. |

Spiralsby ArcanistComment: I always find it very difficult to decide how this type of image should be composed as no matter where you crop it, you will always lose something interesting.
With this image, I would be tempted to crop the top bend out so that the handrail exits the picture in the middle of the image to mirror where it comes in at the bottom..but then you lose that nice curve at the top???
Decisions..decisions.
Regardless, this is a very nice, abstract style image with clean sharp outlines which I hope does well. Good luck. |
