Big Bucks!by basia03Comment: There is a major problem here. The range of exposure that you are trying to accomodate is just too much with the result that the shadows are too dark and the highlights too light. Try this. Set up using a tripod. Take an image exposed for the shadows and then one exposed for the highlight. You can then merge the two and you'll have an image that caters for the full dynamic range. |

Or the lack of it ..by KhalidComment: Sharpness is an issue. Perhaps the same idea on an older or more weathered hand would work better. |

Savings Accountby alanfreedComment: I think you are let down a bit by the angle you chose. Your flash has crated the odd hot spot reflections and the shadows on your background are not particulary pleasing. Nice DOF and focus. |

Water.... Who'd A Thunkit !by DrakeComment: This was set up so there is no excuse for the line through the S not being 100% straight. I think that if you could have have a desert background you may have had a superb expression. Cross culturally you lose quite a bit. I agree that the whole bottled water thing is ridiculous though. |

Goldby melkingComment: There is DOF problem. The iamge is not capturing the lustre of gold and the crop is distracting. I mean why only on the right? I would also suggest that this is more about iron pyrite (Fool's gold) and diamonds. |
