Week 1. From the Horses Mouthby NeilComment: In my country (the Netherlands) there s a saying that you should not look a given horse in the mouth. I guess your view is a gift. |

Week 2. NYS Capital Buildingby NeilComment: Huge contrasts, in color, textures, architecture (modern rectangular, classical, modern waviness), emphasized by your processing. In the balance of it all the pavement is a bit overpowering, I think. |

Winter Homeby ciaeagleComment: Hi there! (S)he looks like the annoyed neighbor that comes to the door after some brats rang the doorbell and ran away. |

harrier-take-2by sulamkComment: Makes a big difference indeed. You manage to keep the bird sharp as it should whilst the noise disappeared. Remarkable, since in most cases a de-noise results is done by (selective) blurring. |

Table for Twoby ElaineComment: This is better than the tilted shot. I like the B&W which nicely defines the subject. |

Flower Beetleby sulamkComment: I like the composition with the diagonal flowers, the dark beetle where the rule of thirds says it should be and the juxtaposition of colors and brightness. Good job. |

cooling offby AbraComment: A heat wave at christmas, quite different from what we typically eexperience here in Europe! I like how you lowered your POV to be at the boy's eye level. Looking at your shot, it seems pitch black inside. Would it perhaps have been possible to have a peek inside? |

Family of fourby EnlightenedComment: I think you skillfully put the three leaves in the focal plane, in a triangular composition, with a nice and subtle (color) contrast between the leaves and the branches. Maybe no exciting shot, but certainly pleasing as it is. Don't toss your 105mm just yet! |

02 - Dawnby ursulaComment: Nice abstract again. Similar textures as last week, but not surprising since it is water as well. The colors you capture are what make this shot. |
