Oneby markwileyComment: Great isolation of the subject. I rated this image highly mostly for that part, and it's also technically good. My biggest qualm is the foot going into the girl's head, and this takes this from a top notch image to an almost-top notch image. Well shot, and thanks for taking it. |

Cuthbert And The Lady With The Vegetable Stand by CuttoothComment: I love this implied relationship you've created, the framing and composition is pretty solid. You lose a bit of the overall quality of the image with the wide angle distortion, sadly. Regardless, a wonderful image. |

Time travellerby NeatComment: One of the few shots to use windows/reflections really well in this challenge. It's primarily this reflected buggy which really sets the image off as it gives you a cohesive theme. The shadow of another rider shortly ahead of this one is also helpful. Great shot, and thanks for taking it. |

Parade Hairby MaryOComment: What an expression on that dog's face! Way to be there in the moment, and props to you for being courageous on a few levels. Firstly, that courage to go out and take street shots which is the foundation of it all, but moreso the courage required for this far more intimate frame which the picture would be completely worthless without.
Things that would've brought your score up from my perspective: the luck to have the girl making true eye contact with our canine friend, and...you know actually on second look, that's it. So I'm upping the score now, hahaha. You're my second favorite this challenge. I haven't been to DPC in years, and I'm happy to be back. Shots like this remind me of why I am. |

The Competition by romilComment: Truly, an excellent street shot. What gives it away as a winner is that fact that many of us recognize this scene, but probably rarely see it, particularly outside of fiction (film). What's beautiful is that we have so many players in a two man game. There's obviously the two competitors, at it so intensely they have probably forgotten the crowd behind them. Then there is this classic, smug character sitting right next to them, and his buddy not far off, looking on with far more humility and curiosity. It's all so evident right there in the faces of your subjects. Beyond that, we have a crowd, interacting on its own levels, even in the shadows, conversation grows.
Absolutely wonderful photography, although, I gave you a 9 and not a 10, reason being that the technical aspects could be a tad better. So close to perfect, and the winner for this competition in my opinion. Just classic. |

Fat to Fitby Yo_SpiffComment: Dodging around the feet is a bit distracting in what is otherwise a very nice image. |

Drink More Water by Samantha_TComment: This is really interesting, but the eye is just way overdone. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. |
