"Here I come to save the day!"by pointandshootComment: Really sorry this didn't do better, but kind of expected it with DPC voters - the landscapes that came in for ribbons ARE stunning, but I still love this. My favorite of the challenge because it is different. Thanks for sharing the secret of the image ... not that I can see any trees ... ;-).

Vanda Orchidsby kasabaComment: Thank you all for your comments - agree, I think it was a bit too dark. I had such great plans with a purple glass ball ... didn't work at all :-), so I used the Orchids alone as a last minute entry. Quite like the somewhat modern design feel using the roots as well.

Caught by the Frostby kasabaComment: Thank you all for comments and nice votes. The red dot irritates the living daylights out of me ... can't believe I didn't see it when I was working in it :-(. Should have contrasted the leaves more. The pods were tricky, because the highlights soon blew out which I tried to avoid. Thanks again for all your comments. |

Crystal Blue Persuasionby Tommy_MacComment: Congrats, you did well with yopur shot - I thought it was so funny that we had almost the same picture - 3 glasses, splash to the same side, etc. |

Just learned something new - never heard of lefse before. By the looks of the recipe, it sounds like a tricky thing to make, but "reads" delicious :-). Off to make a common omlett for my husband's breakfast with home eggs. |
