Early morning means good reflection photos

RUEDISCHMUTZComment: What can I say, after 3 years and 184 entries I eventually got my first ribbon. If that is not perseverance.
With no doubts, this was my most exiting DPC week and I can not tell you how many times I checked the score.
Even my wife kept phoning me to the office, when the score started to climb.
First check Monday morning the score was just over 7, what excitement, but then I dropped quickly to 6.6, and I thought: here we go again. However from then onwards, it was a slow but steady up to the finishing score.
Some comments to the photo. I actually intended to take a misty autumn scene , but as so often, there was no mist. Until eventually I spotted the reflection on the Schwarzsee here near Fribourg in Switzerland.
Technically it was not a very difficult photo to take. The important part was to spot the moment.
I first entered an other photo, but in the very last moment I changed it to this entry. This was pure luck.
Shooting in RAW and almost all the time I am using a tripod.
I would like to thank all the good people for their super comments. I enjoyed every single one.
I hope I can keep the momentum going and look forwards to the next challenges.
