far too many images in this challenge are falling into the shallow focus field. the whole challenge is about toys, why not let them come out and play properly instead of obscuring them in their moment to shine. |

Trainby MondComment: i like the added negative space on this, it actually makes this image for me in a make-it-or-break-it way. overally it's a good composition, but this frame just elevates it from "picture" to "memory of childhood" for me. |

i get that this is going for a softer focus to try to make it look as 'real' as possible, but i find that it's a bit too soft...or perhaps it's just the noise (it IS quite noisy) |
