	A Storm in the Hills by BrianR Comment: I like the dark, ominous sky here, it really sets the mood. I think if there were a little more burning to the sky that it could have nailed the dramatic effect. Well done and good capture!

	Waters Edge by Quigley Comment: Now this shot is just plain cool. I can't describe exactly what it it, but the texture just feels so right for the snow and lighting. It has a nice dreamy feel to it. It's very pleasing to the eye.

	The Pond by griz210 Comment: I really like the dark sky here contrasting with the bright clouds, it has a nice dramatic effect. The rest of the picture seems to blend together tonally (closely related tones seems to distract eye from the beauty of the scene). Well captured!

	Competing Narratives of Light by posthumous Comment: I particularly love the snow in the foreground here. I feel like I can reach out and touch it and has great form. I think the lack of a definitive subject makes it hard as the eye tends to wander trying to find it. Other than that, well done!
