Flying logby qnjtComment: Proves that there are no absolute rules of composition - there is an arrowhead pointing to the centre of the frame! Love the bizzare pattern of silouettes and the smokey-coloured reflection of the sky. A cracking image. 10 |

Christmas Wishby PacloComment: The original idea was to make a wreath of lights emerge from a coil of barb wire. This proved complicated and painful, so I abandoned it for a simpler approach. I cut the barbs from the wire with bolt cutters and threaded them onto the Christmas light wire, then stretched and twisted the wire. I wish I had been able to shoot this in a studiio, but I was on holiday, and had to set up in a basement!
Thanks to all for your kind words.
Paul

Individualityby rickhd13Comment: When you enhance or colorise the M&M pay careful attention to the surrounding white M&Ms as they will invariably reflect the green one. This shot looks very retouched, but with a little work could look perfect. Now you'll probably tell me it is a straight shot and I'll have to eat my hat (prefereable to eating the M&Ms!) |
