heaven's forward progressionby xburnerxComment: This is a strange looking picture. The foam on the water almost seems to be glowing and the grass is so green, like when I look through my polarized sunglasses. This shot is almost overpowering in it's intensity. Very eye catching. Might be from a bit too much stauration. |

Cactus Portraitby TranquilComment: Nice focus and composition. Not sure if it's missing something in the Oomph department by not being green? |

playing in the swampby turdaveComment: Aaarrrgg! Too much green.
Just kidding. Good composition and subject. I tend to think of a swamp as a dark place, maybe a bit too bright? |

Take Cover!by sjonniComment: Nice catch. Just enough motion on the water to keep the feel of it's mostion. And a good expression on the model. You also managed to keep the face well lit even with the book covering the head. I hope you didn't ruin the book. |

In Velvetby channeledComment: I realize your title puts the focus on the antlers, but somehow, I feel cheated not seeing their heads. Otherwise, the shot looks to be a bit light to me. |

My First Barnby NeuferlandComment: Seems a little overly bright on the top. There is no detail in the sky at all (may not have been or may have been clouds). That contrasts with the fine detail of the road and weeds to create a discontinuity that is a bit distracting. |

I sea a dogby arnitComment: Very good example of showing a subject surrounded by immense scenery. Very good use of DOF to create a beutiful picture that, nevertheless, directs the eye toward the main subject(s). |

Evening Surf Reportby jkarsgaardComment: I did not see those arches the last time I was there (last summer) or am I just forgetting them? My dad used to live about a block north of this back in the 60's.
Nice composition especially with the color shadows falling away from the arches. |
