Nice idea, and though it might be a bit of a stretch for the theme I think it's alright.
Processing wise, the image seems to be lacking some contrast, and definitely some sharpness on the flower.

This is underrated, IMO. I don't mind the wide angle perspective even if it's not typically used in portraits, it seems to put more emphasis on the shape of the face. The shot does have fairly low contrast, though, so processing a little more to increase it would help. Nice model though :p

Nice shot, good timing. I don't entirely agree with the negative space on the top of the frame being bad, but I would like to see more horizontal resolution.. cropping some from the top and making use of the 640px limit would have helped some, as would using a thinner border so that the players took up more of the frame.
Also, the contrast seems kind of high, but it might have been partly the time of day it was shot.
