Bloop!by scrum8Comment: This is a really nice shot! I like the shallow DPF, the 'bloop' of water, the ripples and especially the little ripples near the bottom of the water that's being poured in.
The only thing I would comment on is that the picture looks a little dark. I know that's probably got something to do with the crappy monitor I have here at work, but the left hand side seems difficult to see. [9] |

Water Funby AshezzComment: This is a great idea, you could have done a few things to help with your picture.
Pull the camera back and zoom in to it. Unfortunately it looks a little out of focus.
Did you use a flash? The white spots in the picture are a bit distracting, maybe use another light but point it away from the water or bounce it off of a white piece of paper?
A great idea, [6] |

Bridge Over Troubled Waterby phaedrusComment: I like the waterfall in the bacground, the water spraying around it makes this shot feel wet (In a good way!)
The picture does however look a little dark to me, also the water at the front looks blurry.
To make the water at the front better you could have used a longer exposure. This would have made the water look silky. Or, if you had wanted to capture the water motionless you could have used a shorter exposure. [7] |

. _ . _ Morse Code?by ladpupmoeComment: I really like this photo, but there's one thing that bothers me. The water at the bottom looks manipulated... The large bubble of water's edges don't look right, did you use some sort of filter on the water?
As I said, I do like this. You've captured the . and - very well, it's looks great! I didn't look at the title and immediately thought of morse code. A very good effort! [8] |

ICE³by tomlewis1980Comment: :-) A very good photograph here. The blue effect around makes it better, gives it a cold feel. I like how you waited till the ice cube had melted before taking the picture. [9] |

Winter Wonderlandby spillerComment: Thanks, you've got that song stuck in my head now.....
A great shot, the dark water, the white snow!!! I'd lov to be there on Christmas day!
Good DOF, nice and clear all over the picture. The only thing I would say is to use the clone tool to your advantage. The little pice of snow in the water on the front right hand side of the river bank could have been removed. (Well, I think it's snow...)
In all, a good, clear and Christmassy photograph! Full marks! [10] |

A Pretty Pitcherby ScottKComment: This is a very nice shot, it's clear, well photographed and the red colour around the top of the just is nice anc vibrant.
The only thing that I don't really like about the shot it the border. If it was just black then maybe it would have been better, but the white line down it distracts my eye. If it had been in the centre of the black border it'd have been better. Have to drop a point for this i'm afraid. [9] |
