Easter Bunnyby BeckyComment: The idea is cute, but the quality has suffered. It's very blurry. It may have happened in processing. |

Castle in the Snowby MalokataComment: Critique Club COmments by Grayce
The foreground in the lower left corner frames the image, but is a little busy and takes up too much of the frame. I can't really identify what they are.
Aside from that the structure stands out nicely against the snowy, frosty trees.
You've captured some wonderful texture here. The stones in the walls are good.
The coloring seems nice and realistic, and there is no evidence of digital noise.
Exposure is good, with nice contrast of light and shadow. I'm fascinated by the cold of the snow, while the water isn't frozen.
Regards,
Grayce

The Power and Problems Behind the Church.by GeocideComment: Beautiful architecture, well seen and recorded. But why the tilt? I don\'t see how it adds anything positive to the image. Your exposure, and focus are very good. Would have scored higher if it didn't tilt. |

Frost and Floraby KazComment: The lines are very good. It's hard to tell it's frost. Perhaps a closer shot. |

The Cut -- Where the Rain Never Endsby karmatComment: Critique Club COmments by Grayce
Karma,
This is a lovely image, and black and white suits it well. For many years I lived in the mountains, and I remember how slippery the mountain roads could be, and treacherous with limited visibility. This provokes recollections of the feelings I had, when I had to drive in it.
I wouldn't have thought of it for despair, but ya know what? It works!
The composition works well with the roadway being on a diagonal and leading into the distance. The trees lining the road support that.
Focus is fine for the type of picture....fog, rain, mist. None of it is crystal clear.
OVerall I like this. Very moody. Good job!
Regards,
Grayce |
