Psst! Hey buddy! XYZ!by CitadelComment: DNMC!!! Perhaps you should have called it 'Utterly Viable Window'
Jokes aside, I think the idea is great. Bonus points for non-conformity. |

little girls with big secretsby smardazComment: The foreground is very well done and the image appears spontaneous and unrehearsed. However, the trees in the background are distracting to me. The way the come out from behind their heads look like antlers, especially the girl on the right. |

a break from the cityby APComment: I like the scene as it has a real feel to it. I am also a fan of the foreground elements being used to frame the subject. The only thing I would have changed is the left crop. I see the area left of the tree as dead space and would have personally cropped the image at mid trunk. That would form a barrier that keeps the viewer's eye from wondering off the edge of the photo. |

Ballerina Dreams by njsabsComment: The center is wonderfully lit and the amount of soft focus is perfect. However, I am not too thrilled with the left and right edges. It doesn't seem to add anything to the photo to me. In fact, I see it more as a distraction rather than framing. Perhaps it is just too wide and needed more cropping. Then again, this is just one viewers opinion. |

Lily Of The Valleyby libertyComment: I love the background. Really helps the flowers stand out with the attention they deserve. |

Lady in Waiting by timfythetooComment: To sum up my impression in three words....
1) wow (This one is for the composition)
2) Wow (This one is for the perfect use of soft focus)
3) WOW (This one is for the amazing color, depth of field, lighting, and overall splendidness of the photograph)
I expect to see this on the front page next Wednesday. And in case you didn't figure it out.... 10! |

Mississippi risingby woolbr8stlComment: I like the chain in the bottom left. I didn't even notice it until it just seemed to jump out at me after a few seconds. |

She told him he'd regret itby Sam94720Comment: A story indeed. Somehow, I think the roles are reversed here however. I would imagine the guy walking down the street with a girl in a low cut shirt and knee high boots (ie, the fling) and the more conservatively sundress clad wife sitting on his smashed car with a hammer. Then again, I may be thinking of an entirely different story. But that aside, the composition and lighting are both very good. The puff of smoke is just icing on the cake. |
