What a charmin photograph (sorry, couldn't resist). As far as the photo is concerned, the colors appear too muted. More light could have added a more vibrant contrast. Also, although the title suits the challenge, I have a hard time matching it to the photo and also matching the photo to the challenge. Maybe if you included mom with a stern disciplinary look about her it would have helped bring it all together.

The out-of-focuse line at the bottom takes a lot away from the photo as it tends to draw my attention to it. Aside from that, it is very nicely composed and gives an almost serene feeling to the viewer.

Nice interpretation of the challenge. Our lives are finite, but our genes live on through the next generations. I am also impressed by the location of the shot and using the pattern in the fence to emulate the double-helix of DNA. Very well composed.

One Tiny Weed on the Infinite Steps

I really like the way the light is caught on the face of each step and the way it converges out at the top right. A very nice looking and pleasing photograph that captures the challenge well. The only thing I don't like is the title since there are many weeds visible. But this is a photo challenge not a title challenge, so no harm done.

Very nice interpretation of the challenge and excellent colors in the photo. I especially like the use of yellow for the inside border. Your composition is either well though out or very lucky. Particularly the placememnt of the minute hand perfectly centered on the 4 o'clock mark and the vertical seconds hand. The only criticism is that the hour hand should have been more distinctly seperated from the minute hand (maybe at the 8:00 position for symetry). Also the scratch on the bezel by the 40 on the top dial is unfortunate. (not just for the photo but for your watch too). Aside from that, very nicely composed. I like it.

Excellent use of light and nice job capturing the seagull. The only negative is that I think the border is too wide, but everything else makes that insignificant. Very nicely done.

Infinite Track

I really like the way you aligned the photo along the end of the railroad ties instead of the typicall shot down the middle of the tracks. I think, however, that you cropped a bit too much off the top. I think showing some more sky could have improved the overall image. (I'd have to see it to know for sure though)

Long Road Ahead

The subject, color balance, and perspective all work very well in this photo. The only downside is the perpendicular sun lines on the road. It tends to break up the line to infinity. A section of road that was lined up with the sun would have worked better.

I love the long cloud below the cirrus and the colors from the sun are well captured. Overall, however, I think the photo is a bit dark and grainy.
