I don't know if I would have gone B&W with this shot. The tongue is to close in shade to the cheek and doesn't stand out as much as I would have liked. Leaving the color in the photo may have provided better contrast.

Eyes!!! To truly show intimacy, you need to let the viewer see the subjects eyes for that is where intimacy resides.

A stretch of the theme, but who cares. Photo wise, I like the tilt as it ties in nicely with eating out of a fast food bag (being in a rush and all). The only caution I would give is to be cautious about every aspect of your composition. In this photo, the food appears to be coming out of his nose. It may be subtle, but it can have a very negative impact on a photo.

The idea is nice, but the fact that the bar code is front and center is really a major distraction. To me, nothing screams 'not intimate' more than a bar code. Also, the white balance seems to be a bit too much on the warm side.

I was just reading an article in Popular Photography about capturing butterflies in flight rather that static on a flower. Ironically, they recommended shooting with fast shutter speed to avoid blur, but that wouldn't work very well in the challenge I suppose. Regardless, the colors are well balanced, as is the exposure. And the motion in the wings does give it a dynamic sense. Well done.

This image would have worked better for me if there was something to ground it to. A wider crop placing some background into focus would have given more emphasis to the motion of the carousel.

I spent a good bit of time staring at this photo trying to place a story on it. The image I came away with is a spirit emerging from a mine shaft. I don't know if that was your intent, but the more I look at it, the clearer I see it (time to move to the next image I suppose). As far as detractions, the light squiggle near the bottom left and the hot squiggle near the top are somewhat bothersome.

At first glance my mind jumped to 'yup, another featureless blurry photo' but then I read the title and the image took on instant meaning. Very nice use of the blur to show a sense of urgency.

After seeing countless images of blurry MESS, it is nice to see a few that are BLURRY mess. The motion you introduced into this photo gives a fantasy like feeling, almost calming and serene. It actually gives me more of the impression of a northern pine forest rather then a rain forest, though. Makes me want to look for a pot of gold (I should stop commenting on St. Patrick's Day).

The only detraction is the top right corner. The beige doesn't seem to tie in with the rest of the photo. Still very nice overall.

This image has an appropriate use of DOF to suit the subject and not just the challenge. I also like the contrast in the clouds and the way the rusty barbed wire ties in with the color of the building. If the scene allowed it, shifting the shot to the right so that the green structure on the left could have been omitted might have helped.
