Heavy Metalby esdarbyComment: I love the idea, but I *hate* the dirty-looking tile background. This would have been much more effective with the scale on a clean white or black surface, so the attention would be on your subject. The scale and ipod lack some clarity as well, but the illusion is neat! |

Three Glasses of colourby kiwinickComment: The yellowish tint of the light area is really unatrractive to me, but the glasses are nice. I don't understand the illusion very well, but that's just me. I find I'm having that problem a lot in this challenge. :) I like the clarity of the glass "stems" |

Crab in Oneby khrysComment: This is fantastic! I saw crabs just like this in Hawaii two weeks ago, but my camera was too slow and too suck at macro to catch them properly. Yours is wonderful, and I really think this fits the challenge. Fantastic capture, great work! |

Caughtby torfisComment: This is a neat illusion. I just wish I "got" the point; I don't, but I still appreciate the photographic value, so definitely I'm basing my score on that, not my lack of understanding. Well done. I like the choice of colors for the jeans and arms. |

SAY WHEN!by NaldComment: (Gross!!!!!!) That said, this is a neat idea and seems to be carried out pretty well. It just seems a bit lacking in color and clarity, and is a bit grainy, but all in all, it is a neat illusion. |

Worn Lego does the Impossibleby SteveinnzComment: I think the focus could be a bit more crisp here, and if the subjects were a little less dirty... there isn't much appeal here, and I'm hard put to see the impossible... perhaps I'm just jaded though, having seen just about every trick legos (and duplos) can accomplish from working in daycare. I also think the colors take a bit away, though I know that's just a personal thing... Perhaps in black and white? |

Where Does Reality End?by OdysseyF22Comment: I think I'm missing the illusion here... or perhaps the point. I'm trying to find the relationship between title and photo, but I just can't. The focus also seems to be a bit off; it could be crisper, and the black corner on the bottom left side is a bit distracting. Your subjects are lovely though, and I hope that perhaps it's just me missing the point, and that others do get it. |

Box of Toothpicksby severinComment: Simple and fun, I like it! I just wish the lines of the box matched up with the lines of the cropping, so it doesn't look so off-kilter |

Strange Brewby BaldurTComment: This is a neat picture, but for me, it's just lacking something, like a definite interest point or an eyecatching, thought-provoking title, perhaps. It's nice to look at though. |

You know that tingling feeling you sometimes get reading a scary book...by NobodyComment: This is a great idea, but it loses some of the effect it might have had because of several things... first, the setting. I think this would have been fantastic if you'd had this set in the child's room, while he's in bed in the dark with a small reading lamp or maybe a flashlight, then had the scary image looming over him or under the bed or something. Secondly, the obvious "human" hand takes away from the image: it is clear that the scary thing is just a human in disguise. Simply keeping the hand in the robes would work well. Thirdly, the child's expression doesn't show anything other than concentration or possibly even boredom, he needs to show a hint of fear or nervousness, or something... perhaps a glance over his shoulder, anything to show that the subject is showing your title " You know that tingling feeling you sometimes get reading a scary book..." Right now, I'd say, no, he doesn't know that feeling... |
