I like the simplicity of this image and how the grass seems to divide the image in two. Not seeing where the ducks are going seems to add a bit of mystery and interest to their swimming.

This is a nice capture. The darkness of the borders/edges and the nice DOF lead the eye softly to the relaxing subject. The color and DOF work well in this image.

This has a good feel and I like the blur/DOF. I wonder if a grainy/gritty look would help the vintage feel. I like the darkness of the edges.

I'm not sure if others will like the brightness on the eye, but I think it suits this image. It appropriately draws the attention in to the subject. Also, the candidness and background of this shot as well as the lighting (local dodging and burning?) make it a very nice sepia image.
