I'm on my cellie....flat out on my back (too much Thanksgiving)- decided to cruise the thumbs of this free study.....this image popped out, caught my attention..... I'm not one for portraits all that often unless I take them...lolol.....but there is something in this that holds me....shows the viewer the way they relate....its as if she is looking in a mirror admiring him.....very intense....love the veins in her hand....so pulsing...alive... favorite portrait I've seen on d.p.c. ever. 10+
Every part of this works.....you could even crop it into a matrix.... each....part would work....very strong!

I think the red background is a great idea.....surrounds your subject with subtle vibrance and opposite the green makes for a lovely frame around the white....
