Nice idea, generally well done. Some comments: seems a tad tilted, it would be nice to have had enough light in the glass to see some color in the wine. Mostly centered composition is not as dynamic. Use of DOF is excellent -- just missed the DOF challenge!

Dog and Bone

Tough shot, black dog, white bone, outdoor lighting! Dog is perfect, but bone is overexposed. Hard to shoot dogs, I know firsthand, and this composition is good but could be better. If you were going to cut his hind anyway, it would have been better if it were in the upper right corner, and then his bottom foot were there (basically, his lines would be the diagonal.

College Survival Kit

Had the same idea myself (peanut b. and jelly at leat), but ddn't end up shooting it because I could not do it artistically. This meets the challenge well, but lacks a sense of "flare" or artistry. Personally, I was going to try smearing the peanut butter and jelly together on a glass plate in a nice swirly pattern and shoot it as a closeup.

Nice composition, a bit tto much soft focus and too little contrast probably on purpose to enhance the softness, but it sticks out in that way. Would have been neat to get tsome sparkle on the ring as a contrast against the softness.

Good idea, but Lighting seems a bit harsh with some hot spots, and its a bit too small to evaluate in other ways. You might have used more negative space here too to make the composition more dynamic.
