This was one of my favorite submissions for this challenge, even if the interpretation is a bit of a stretch for me. This is a wonderful example of tasteful digital transformation of what might otherwise be a mediocre photo into something truly special. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see other experiments of this sort in the Free Studies in the future!

Interesting perspective. I'm not entirely persuaded because of the "busy-ness" of the foreground, though. Would you consider making everything but the "past due" black and white?

I think this one might have been more striking with tighter vertical crops at the left and right to draw focus more squarely on the very warmly illuminated shop. I might also have used a perspective crop to "straigten" the vantage (which appears a little crooked to the right). Overall, a 6 from me.

Breathtaking. I was going to attempt a very similar shot of an old truck like this in some overgrown weeds, but I don't think it would have come out nearly this striking. I will be sorely disappointed if this one doesn't ribbon. 10 from me.

Composition is lovely. Not sure how I feel about the profile pose, but I don't think it necessarily detracts from the overall image effect. Next time, you might consider having your model sling that guitar over her shoulder and walk away toward the barn in the distance along the railroad. One minor editing complaint: the dodging around the subject's face and torso is giving her a sort of "glow" that may have been intentional, but if it was it's not convincing enough for me. Overall: a solid 7 from me.

Very effective use of the fisheye effect (whether it was a lens or a filter I don't know). My only complaint is that the subject feels unfocused and a little blurry. I might try using a healing brush to sharpen the features of the face. It's a shame this one was submitted for the Centered Composition II challenge!

I love the title. I also like the composition and the colors, but something about it feels "empty" to me. Perhaps the zoom is just a little too much, or maybe it was cropped just a little to tightly for my taste. My overall impression places this as a 5.

The lighting of this image is very unattractive to me. It feels as though it's a low-res scanned Poloroid that was cropped too wide(hence the white strip on the right of the image). I think some darkening and contrast, maybe some noise removal, could have really salvaged this image.

I was going to do a shot like this, but then I realized that I had no tall grass to shoot because everything around here is dead from drought. I like the overall composition, but the colors are not as vivid as I think they could be. You might consider doing a selective desaturation on every tone but the reds to make that lawmower pop out against the rest of the composition.

The lighting makes this appear overexposed. Something warmer would have been more convincing. Some selective saturation (esp. oranges and greens tones). I recognize and understand that you WANTED these flowers' wilt to come out. But with so little color against that stark black backdrop, it feels like just a faulty exposure. A little creative use of a sharpening brush tool around the flowers and leaves might have helped, too.
