Pure Innocenceby Ja-9Comment: Oh so cute, love the bit of drool. This one just suffers from a lack of focus overall it is too soft especially on the hands(looks like motion blur) and while the lips seem to be in focus your eyes are very soft. |

Bundle of Joyby colorcarnivalComment: I really liked this one focus is spot on and the light and processing on the eyes are just right. My only complaint is that the skin on the face overall is a tad bright and flat. |

Joshby mbrutus2009Comment: I really like this one the black and white really suits it and I love the expression. However you missed the focus on his eyes (a little soft) and overall they are too dark I would like to see a difference between the pupil and iris and right now they are pretty much all dark. |

The Young Manby StagoleeComment: I like his sly look. I just wish his eyes were a little better lit and more in focus (your focus is best on the brim of his hat, so a bit of a miss). Also there are some parts that look like processing on his cheek and chin that have been smoothed or blurred and the transition to his nose and lips isn't very smooth. Overall I really like the look and feel of this image, I'm only commenting on ones that I feel had potential. |

Annaby BudyaComment: This one is nice but I am wanting more of her face to be in focus, you got it right on her eyes but I would think her lips and nose would be in better focus. I'm guessing this might be from processing. But it could just be from an extremely shallow DOF |

Edge of Darknessby glad2badadComment: Nice effect my only complaint is that the eye on the lit side seems a bit dark I wish you had found a way to get some more light to it. |

Shyby bnileshComment: very cute capture :) I love photos that are looking down so that you can see their cute little lashes. This one is great but it suffers a bit from soft focus, I don't mind the soft focus everywhere else but the eyes (or eyelashes in this case) should always be sharp. |

hold your colourby disassociationComment: This one has potential but you need to have some fill light her face and here eyes especially are too dark (no catchlights) The first thing that should catch the viewers attention is the eyes but in this photo I notice the bright yellow flowers and the blown out background. I'm not saying that the flowers and the bright background is bad, it seems to be the trend lately, just that it can't be so bright as it overpowers the models face and eyes. You might have been able to bring up the lighting a bit in her face with processing but most likely you just needed some reflectors. |

Damianby DudskiComment: I like the lighting and the eye has nice detail so I know your focus is on. You've probably already heard this quite a bit, but I think you sort of shot yourself in the foot with the processing on this one. His skin is overly smooth and when I look at it that is all I see, not the nice lighting you have got going here. Especially for a man, this photo requires more grit more edge, his expression says it all, but smoothing it out takes that all away. Processed differently I could see it in the top 10, as is I gave it a 5 sorry :( |

ANARCHIST by LVicariComment: I can't decide if I like this or not. The lighting is good but she looks like a manikin and I'm thinking you did this on purpose but the effect is done more strongly on the hand than the face, I think I would like it better if it was more uniform. |
