the sitterby daisydavidComment: Thank you Don and Mariuca, and everyone. I love how creative you all are with the interpretation, particularly Don's interpretation of the second half. I think it better to give the viewer an opportunity to freely interpret a work because it creates the dialogue between the work and the viewer. It is not a stunning piece of work, but with the help of the audio it creates an invitation to participate, something I believe is critical to any sphere of human interaction especially when using abstract visual and aural artefacts. Well done peoples. |

Conquering the dark.by Jules1xComment: Let the night be your friend. Even more so, that time between the light and the dark, the gateway to the dark. The things you fear live in the dark, you can live there too. Perhaps your essay is telling us you fear the inhabitants but not the darkness itself. Interesting topic, I hope you pursue it and use the fear to enhance your curiosity. |

call-me.1by mariucaComment: I like this essay the more times I look at it. It is well composed with clean elegant elements. A good example of less is more, not an easy thing to achieve. Integrating the classics with your own personal style and interpretation is refreshing to say the least, perhaps an artistic ah-ha moment. I enjoy your use of clear, sharp imagery along with vibrant colour. |
