Shoreline Silhouetteby moodvilleComment: Too much sharpening. Did you take a couple more after the sun went a little lower? I think I would have liked it better without the flare. It's really interesting how the buildings appear to float. I wonder how they would look at sunrise. |

What is this, Pride of the Nation?by adriannayusofComment: There's another picture entered of the same building. Cool. The lamp on the left shoud be cropped out, too distracting. The colors have a washed out look, like the image was overexposed. Getting a little closer would have allowed you to isolate the buildings a little more. Maybe work with levels or curves to bring back some more contrast. |

Building to Buildingby kingscComment: The lights in the modern building gives this anotherlevel of meaning. People working and looking out to the church, perhaps judging it. The reflection also looks like a monster. Good shot |

Into the Distanceby lykofosComment: I think you are the only one so far that has a decent foreground, middle and background. like the right, left, right composition also. Would have liked to see the front one a little futher to the right. Decent focus too. 7 |

Village Urbanby NeuferlandComment: Nice use of grain. The photo doesn't do anything for me though. As much as people complain about pets, I think this would have benefitted from something like that to bring it alive. Maybe someone standing in the door, too. Sorta a retro urban thing. |

Evening Lightby jmritzComment: The leaning pole is a little distracting. Looks like a lot of the small towns around here. I like the effect of the evening light. The composition doesn't look to well thought out. I maybe would have picked out some detail that was interesting and tried different things with that. The thing that draws my eye is the awnings and sign on the left side of the street. |

Hazeby ellamayComment: Good composition and action. You were able to take a negative (haze) and turn it into a vital element in your capture of the scene. The water spray helps bring it all together. 10 |

Seen Superman?by lentilComment: Dreamy. Looks really old and beat up. Maybe stepping back just a little would give some more clues about the city it's in. Is it as old and beat up or maybe it's clean and well kept. |
