rooftopsby eswikComment: I just bumped you from a 4 to a 5. It meets the challenge, it's exposed correctly but I don't connect with it at all. |

Human lighting versus God's lightingby stevenayerComment: I really want to say something mean, but I realize you took time to take this and to post it, so it means something to you. Maybe a better angle of view would have given you a more interesting composition and helped you avoid the extreme flare. |

City Lightsby MartyrComment: I gave you a lower score. Sorry.
But, I do have some suggestions. You have a haze over the entire image. This would suggest to me that it is overexposed. Also, if you could find a less busy location that has a curve or something, the car lights would create a more interesting pattern. Try to avoid places that have multiple light sources close to where you will be shooting from. |

McNay Art Museum - Main Entrance - ala 1950by JC_HomolaComment: Pretty good composition. I like the focus on the woman. You could have even gotten closer to get more detail in her face. I don't know if you adjusted the colors and contrast in a program, but I think they are a bit harsh although that color in your sky was popular during that era. I think I would have stood closer, more to the left (so she's looking at me) with the building taking up most of the frame and focused only on her. Sorry. I got carried away. |

Urban SKycapeby yamahondamomComment: Beautiful sky, too bad that wasn't the point of the challenge. There seems to be a lot of noise. I do see the light pole in the bottom center. I'd feel bad if that's all the urbaness you have around you to photograph and I gave you a low score. |

The Coastby ZoomdakComment: I love this photo. It is well composed and has a wonderful mood. You missed an opportunity to have fun. If there had even been a washed away sand castle in the frame, I would have voted higher. Sorry, there is no way to stretch this to the meet the challenge. |

philippines!!!by miketherockComment: The buildings look interesting. I didn't give this a higher score because The colors seem to be washed out and it seems to be out of focus or maybe there are a lot of artifacts that make it seem to be unfocused. The composition could use some work. A good question to ask before taking a picture is, what do I feel is the best feature of this scene? And then work to highlight that part. |

Tueborby TooCoolComment: These shots are so hard to get the right exposure on. If you meter on the bright area you will underexpose everything else and if you meter on a darker area, you blow the light area. |

Deco Blueby JukeDaddyComment: The blue is really pretty. The searchlight is nice too. I've noticed that a lot of the night shots aren't in focus, or at least they appear to be not in focus. I like your composition, but the shot is too dark in the foreground area. Maybe crop the large red light out. |

Riverwalk and Downtown San Antonioby paganiniComment: I found the river! You know, I was feeling a bit cheated before. I couldn't see a river.
I used to live in San Antonio. Beautiful city. Well, it was a long time ago, that I lived there. |
