The cocoa looks yummy and the exposure is perfect.
A more elegant solution would have been to have the gloves and coat hanging over a chair or at least having the gloves on the table beside the mug. It looks awkward with her holding the cookie, like it might cause her to spill the hot chocolate at any moment. Do you think there is too much black space between the scarf and the mug?

I worked on a burn ward and you are right, it has it's own smell that is hard to forget. I wish you had been able to zoom into the scene so I could see more of what is going on. It's too vague as it is now. There's no context other than the man.

Funny. Very good detail and perfect focus with just the right amount of dof. Sorta ugly looking, but cute at the same time. Only thing that could be added to this is a cr****. Sorry. I had to say that. Hope you're not a kid.

Coffee in the Morning

A very good attempt. You angled your lights down so the shadows don't show much, your didn't get any real bad highlights on the metal or glass, you used a decent background cover. All of this shows that you are interesting in doing more than an adequate job. Now, work on your composition a little and you should do really well.
If I was taking this, I would move the items away from the background. With a lifestyle picture, it would be ok to see the wall as long as it's not something really dirty or cracked or something. I'd put the coffee and the pot to one side and the cup with a saucer on the other and the spoon on the saucer. You want it to look natural, but perfect. Try it with to camera angled down on the scene also.

Scents of Smell

Nice, with that little added something to make it outstanding. Arrangement and set-up are good. I guess if I would change anything, it would be to desaturate the blue channel to lessen the impact of those highlights on the lip and stopper. But that's just my take on the photo.

Onions

Nice arrangement and composition. A tripod is a wise investment. The camera shake in this picture makes it less pleasing to view than it would have been if it was in sharp focus.

Gas Fumes

I like the colors. However your picture doesn't convince me. It looks like an old abandoned something or other sitting out in a junk yard. Maybe if it's surroundings were shown, I could see that it is being used?

My Roses

Your colors are bright. The pink and blue make a good color combination and the white baby's breath adds to the arrangement. It's really hard to get a decent flash shot to come out right. If you have ev control on your camera, you might want to lower it when using the flash. The point of view is a little high, did you see what it would like from a lower angle? The frame tricked me. I kept looking at the picture to see what was causing the dark shadow! You might want a solid frame in the future. Heck, I didn't know we could do something like that.
