Tree Lined?by newtune3Comment: Pretty place but it looks oof. This might almost be a soft focus effect, but it lacks the glow that the technique usually displays. The plants are a unique color. |

Crossing the horizonby gudbjargarsonComment: Very interesting. I like the mystery of it. Who lived there? How long ago. What is the climate like. Warm? Colors good, night flash good, framing good. The only imperfect thing is the weed to the left, imo. I would have bent it out of the way. I like the savage/civilized implication. |

Trail Linesby FrostyPawsComment: More than likely, you have a ton of comments about the frame. I'm not going to tell you not to use them, but I will tell you why I hate this particular style of frame. It looks like one of those little buttons they used to make for diy websites or those buttons you can have made to wear with your kids picture on it. I don't deduct points for frames though.
The picture. I like the shadows of the fences. The composition is a bit static. Too centered(the left fence is the problem) and the road leads to a stop sign. Could use a little more saturation and contrast. |

Monitor Landscapeby typologicComment: Nice abstract. Look at the center portion. See how the red seems to bulge out of the holes. That is the essence of implied lines. My mind creates an illusion of volume from the information the eyes feed it. I bet this doesn't get the prize, but it should. Btw, I like it better with the lower 1/3 cropped out. good luck. |

City Diversby leafComment: I might be forced to vote on this challenge just to give this picture the ten it deserves. I hate when my picks don't win, and feel somewhat guilty about it. Great sculpture. Thanks for sharing it with us. |

Warm Morning Lightby printer4uComment: Very pretty. The shack is tipped over about two degrees clockwise. Even if it is leaning naturally, I think it would look better if it was straightened a bit. Doesn't take away from the bountiful color you captured. That is wow. |

Studioby maicolComment: Very nice. It must have taken a lot of control on your part to keep from cropping this. It is magical. The balance of curves between the model and table, the sweep of light, the tonality. One of the best pictures I've seen on this site. I will keep this as a favorite and add to my wish list.
Sorry. I can't seem to be able to add it. Message edited by author 2004-10-22 14:16:42. |

Zenby RedOakComment: Must be a lovely place to sit. I like how you framed it to show how the tree branch slopes with the lay of the land. |
