The Butterfly Effectby BeggaComment: I wish I couldn't see your finger holding this (or what I interpret to be your finger). Otherwise this is a beautiful image. |

Re/Progressionby syntexsisComment: I don't see any bokeh here at all. Sorry but this doesn't match the challenge for me. It is a lovely photo anyways. |

Reflections ( Foreground Bokeh )by micktorComment: Sorry, but I don't really consider the reflection of water as bokeh. My definition of bokeh is blur that is created via camera technique for instance zoom or wide open aperture, not via slight blur created in nature.
Its a nice image, and I like the green on the left contrasting with the dead branches. But this just doesn't meet the challenge for me. |

Plumeriaby JovanComment: This picture has grown on me. At first when I saw it I thought it was pretty good, but now I am starting to like it more and more. This was beautifully done, and I can't help but wonder how you managed such a small depth of focus with a fairly wide angle. I couldn't do that with my lenses, the background wouldn't be blurry enough! Though, you might have some much nicer i.e expensive glass than I do. For once, a photo with a border that I don't mind! I could see this picture hanging on my wall. 8 |

Symphony of Lightby NeilComment: So, every time I come back to this picture, the title gets that stupid rap song "Shawty's like a symphony in my head" song stuck in my head, which is awful. Buuuuuut, I forgive you because this is a truly breathtaking and beautiful picture. And as I have already mentioned, it keeps me coming back to view it over and over :-) 9 |

Translucentby GregoryBComment: Is this really how this spider looks like? I never knew that spiders could be that colorful!
Looks beautiful, but for some reason that makes me even more wary of it. I would not want to encounter this spider in real life :-P. Beautiful picture with very nicely complimenting bokeh. An 8 from me.
Later:
I can't stop staring at this photo...Literally, it won't let me leave to keep voting on other images. The spider is drawing me in. Help? Okay, okay I am bumping it up to a 9 |

Fields of Purpleby StangComment: Beautiful bokeh. I have always found that the most successful bokeh for flowers are more of its own in the background, and this is one such striking example. Very interesting flower, and the purple and green contrasts nicely. |

His slice of the world.by PrashComment: This image probably would have gotten an 8 from me in a Free Study. I think it is a marvelous portrait! However, in regards to this challenge I don't feel like the bokeh is really complimenting your subject. It certainly isn't hurting, but it is kind of just "There". I do feel like I need to judge this photo based on the challenge at hand rather than just whether I like it or not, so I will be giving you a 6. Sorry |

After the Rainby ronaldfwComment: Wow, this is truly gorgeous! The colors are gorgeous, and the "feel" is just right with a lovely mix of softness and focus. This is the kind of image that I try for, and fail at :-P. Would you mind telling me your editing steps at the end of this challenge?
I do have to say that those two little petals peeking out of the left side stick out to me like a sore thumb, but I am sure you would have fixed that if it had been advanced editing.
Great job and a 9 from me :-) |
