On a loss of a daughterby HighNoonerComment: Because of the extreme closeup, this image almost looks 3D! It feels like that nose is sticking right out of the screen! |

Lost in Thoughtby PaulComment: This is a fantastic portrait! So emotive and I love the soft green background. I wish there was a tiny bit more space above her head in the image. But thats it, otherwise this is perfect. 8 |

After The Stormby StagoleeComment: Did you blur the sky in editing? Just curious because this image sort of has a tilt shift effect because of the blurring in the sky. Was that intentional? Its a very curious interesting effect! |

Dawn of the dead by Alex_PetriniComment: Is this that art display where statues of people stand in the water or did you set all of this up? Either way, this is fantastically photographed in every single way. The reaper adds drama, the silhouettes add drama, the lighting adds drama. Just everything is perfect in my opinion. A 10 and a fav from me. I hope you do well! |

Have you seen my Pirate?by DeniseComment: Wow, this is one of the greatest parrot portraits I have ever seen. The sharpness is just amazing. A 9 from me. I really love this. |

Just a PoP of Colorby apasciucComment: I think a portrait crop of just the leaves and the stone would have been even stronger. I find the right side of the image distracting. That being said, I love the simplicity of this shot and the contrast between the rock and leaves. Its always amazing when something so simple and common can make a great photograph. |

Them in the Glow, Us in the Moonlight by MargaretNetComment: I voted earlier, but I just have to come back and comment.
This is my favorite photo of the challenge and I sincerely hope it gets the blue ribbon. The contrast between the city and rural area is masterful and its just a fantastic editing job all around. I am trying to figure out how you exposed this so wonderfully that the "rural" is bright enough, but the city not overexposed. Just an awesome job all around.
10 and fav from me |
