my eye goes first to the bright red box which really isnt part of the shot and should be removed.. then i wonder what the large white area along the bottom is.. why is it there? the turtle is cute but if he is the subject then he should be in focus.

awesome color in that vase. lovely. nice exposure on the top part and good white background. nice work! something about the composition bothers me.. maybe because they go off the top off the frame? having more of a curve in the branches and maybe showing more of them would be an alternative

needs to either look more studio or more natural. for instance, putting the items on a solid background and fitting them all in without the distractions along the right side would make it more staged/studio... the white lace is almost overexposed, and having them against the greyish wall doesn't really help.. too many competing elements.. simplify

seems overexposed and oversharpened. needs a little more contrast... sort of an interesting scene but there may be a way to show an area up close and have more effect... focus more on showing the patterns of the buckets and get rid of the distracting bushes along the top.

very nice exposure. i like the strong diagonals... maybe offset one of the leaves so that they aren't quite so aligned with the shrooms. good organic feel to this one.

seems like this might have come from a lower end camera so I'm not gonna make an issue of the quality. i think the lighting in this one is a bit too harsh. .. especially along the left top portion. it seems almost overexposed. i like the leaves and carving but the baskets in the foreground aren't helping.. especially the one with the stars on plastic. might also help with a tad more contrast

love the color combination. nice, simple composition .. lemons are a little overexposed. i like the shadows and directional lighting but the brighter areas are looking more white than yellow and losing their detail.

tad overexposed maybe. this is one of those ideas that may be better as an idea than as a final picture. nothing totally wrong with it as a photograph but even the pros would have a hard time making a wonderful picture of a bowl of wrapped candy ... putting it on the ground doesn't help a lot..
perhaps having one bar of chocolate and a bright colored leaf together on a solid background with dramatic lighting would be an alternative.

I like the blueness in this one.. maybe a black fabric background would work better than the white paper.
