do you see that the red one is too close to the edge of the picture - give it some room.
i give you a tip: when you want to make nice pictures of fruits (eg. apples) - first rub it with your sleave.. then it's sleek :)

Lighting and background are good but IMHO it need more DOF because the front is too blurry.
The top of the book is in focus but you have there less light (it is dartker) than the bottom of the book (out of focus part)
If the top of the book would be brighter and the bottom would be darker maybe then the current DOF works well.

Maybe you itended to show the lower blue line in angle but i'd like to see it vertical to the bottom edge..

sorry, the white area on left-top corner is just too distracting. my eyes can't rest on that picture... only if the white were black too.
