Andyby RetroesqueComment: Congrats on 20 years! I like this a lot, but think the little tuft of hair in the middle of his forehead is distracting. Think about cropping it out. I like the soft, muted colors here. May I ask how you process your photos. They always have this dreamy, retro look that I greatly admire and would like to try myself. Thanks. |

Turkey Vultureby davidwComment: I agree that the angle doesn't work. The far eye seems odd to me because we can't see enough of it. If you cropped tighter like the others, I think it might be more successful too. All in all, however, I think your images are very sharp and beautiful. Now I have to get to my local Audubon Society to try to emulate you! |

Peregrine Falconby davidwComment: A great shot, but I think the head facing the camera doesn't work quite as well as the side angled shots. |

Light Phase Red Tailed Hawkby davidwComment: I think I like it even more than the bald eagle. Something about the angle of the head in the frame and the background. Love it! |

Week 15 - City Streetsby PennyStreetComment: Great idea to capture the spirit of NYC. I love the vibrant bokeh too, and wish the girl's head or the hat were more in focus, but I know this was probably one of those spur of the moment grab shots. |

Party in the Parkby GermaineComment: I agree with the other comments thus far, but there's something interesting about all those balloons. What did the original look like? |

PaW2010-Week-17by TerComment: Wow! That looks like an interesting place to photograph. Is it a university? Is there another angle to eliminate the metal staircase on the right. It just slightly detracts from the beauty of the place, in my opinion. |

Food 17 - Salmon with vanilla cremeby hajekaComment: Very well done again.
I think the white plate and the white background don't add any interest. Maybe that was your intention, but I'd love to see a brightly colored plate and see what happens. Just food for thought (sorry for the pun). |

Low Tideby GermaineComment: I love the muted colors. What did you do, if anything, to achieve them?
A timeless shot. Wish I was there. |
