Some layers of smoked salmon with a kind of vanilla creme in between. Although the back part was the nicest (salted fried sprat with some herbs), it wasn't very photo genetic (understatement).

You are making me hungry.........A new rule should be any food images you should provide me with a sample......the UK is just across the water from The Netherlands anyway..........I don't know what salted fried Sprat is so it wouldn't make me as hungry as those Salmon crackers are..........

Good composition and depth of field. Even the Parsley here adds to the overall balance of the image. Another great food image.

After reading the other comments, I will disagree with them. I think food is best photographed like this, white plate and white background, especially with this dish, as the pink of the Salmon in the colour added, and the plate does not draw any attention away from the subject

I just LOVE salmon - never would have thought of teaming it with vanilla cream. (And I'd better not!)

Very well done again.
I think the white plate and the white background don't add any interest. Maybe that was your intention, but I'd love to see a brightly colored plate and see what happens. Just food for thought (sorry for the pun).
