Wonderful focus on the eyes and nice B/W tones here with good contrast. A touch of an issue with composition created by cutting off the dog at the left side of the frame. Landscape orientation may have been better.

This would have been so much better if the top of your head wasn't showing! Raise those arms up a tad!! The processing and the shot/lighting are well done.

I am voting this a 6 for great emotion. I am seeing either camera shake due to use of slow shutter speed which leaves motion blur, or a missed focus with wide open aperture and a lack of anything sharp, including the background which isn't moving.

This is a nice starting point. You showed some good compositional elements by placing an object in the foreground and using the leading line of the shoreline to lead to the foggy hillside in the background. A few ideas to bring it to the next level would include, shooting at a lower viewpoint using a landscape orientation, then in post processing use separate gradient filters to bring down the exposure of the sky to show the contrasty clouds, raise the exposure of the foreground to show the highlights in the water, and use a layer mask to exposing the land a little higher than the water.

This is a wonderful portrait but not a real good example of high contrast in my opinion. This is very diffuse lighting creating an even contrast throughout the photo on the subject. A better example would have been to have her stand out in full sun.

The angle of view does not accentuate the shape one bit. If I didn't know anything about billiards, I would not know the shape was a triangle.

Really cool but the subjects appear way too far away to see any detail.
