Day 15 - On the beachby tomeComment: I looked back and found I gave you a 7 in the July Free Study! I liked it! I think your treatment in the free study was great with a nice dark background. I enjoy this color version as well. The line doesn't bother me, but for a free study, I can see how people can nit-pick the details. She has lovely eyes that are shown well and the glimmer from the earing is a nice detail! |

Ears A'Flyin'by MaryOComment: Amazing depth of field here at f5.0! My initial reaction to the sharpness was tempered after looking into the photo more deeply. With the linear charge of the dogs and the brightness of the light fading off into the dark trail in the back, this is almost three dimensional! |

June 17-30by bassboneComment: I love how you used the shutter speed to create some movement which isolates your son very well. Also increasing the brightness in the areas you did puts the focal point on him and the statue! |

Day 14by MinsoPhotoComment: This is a wonderful vintage image. I like the colors and the tones here. One thing that really sticks out is the ball being Made in China! It is a small detail and doesn't really fit the vintage scene, because in the era of this glove, everything was Made in the USA!!! And we were proud of that fact! |

Day 14by bohemkaComment: Indeed, the perspective is ver neat. I like the way the vines are being made to grow here. Do you have a more frontal view of the house as well? |

The Poetby vawendyComment: You did well to capture this bright bird in an otherwise dark scene. The blur of the person conveys and image of thought, which is presented well with the title in mind. I can't help but wonder what this person is thinking! The pop of red is great too! |
