The perfect angle for a spidery home

IMHO - I might have framed this shot with the web at the top right corner.
The top left corner looks over exposed due to the sun.

IMHO - I would have framed the photo different here...width side as longest side, eliminated some of the foreground on the top and bottom of the frame, and maybe used a different tilt.

I like how the shadows form right angles all the way through the whole perspective.

Such a shame the bollards take away from the symmetry of the photo. (Not under your control) ... 7

I may be wrong, but this looks overexposed and out of focus.

Bishop Going Down

Comment:
Is that the king or queen on the far left? If it's the king, I think the bishop is on the attack, and therefore just made a stupid move by putting the king in check with the knight right there! Haha, of course, that is why it is going down...

Very nice shot. I like the color. Did you put a piece of glass over the board to get the reflections? Maybe it's the opacity of the piece, but the bishop seems to be less sharp than the clearer pieces.

Different lighting, maybe from the top right, would have made this a better shot. Keep exploring it, you got the right idea!

I think this could have been made stronger by framing it so that the angles were symmetrical. Maybe that just wasn't possible. A good eye. I would like to see your outakes on this one...
