Stopby lilkarebearComment: This is complsed very well. A different time of day would have made for better lighting and color. |

Piazza della chiesa nuova by srugoloComment: Pizza with new cheese? Sorry, it's a joke. Ecellent photo and a top ten winner for sure! The light allowed for great saturated colors! |

Maskby flavioalimaComment: Just my opinion: In using the portrait orientation, I would have cropped this so the mask was perfectly vertical and split right down the middle.
As far as backlighting is concerned: Yes it is lit from behind. In a classic backlighting picture, there are shadows in the foreground to contrast with the light. This doesn't depict that. |

Santaby JasenkaComment: The lighting is great on this photo, but the subject is something else. Not because it is santa, but because it is a nick-nack and therefor uninteresting to me. However, I'll bet if this photo was used to sell this santa statue on e-bay, you'd get more than your asking price! |

Backlight of Godby nivritochariComment: A beautiful sunset and well photographed. In this picture, the light is the subject, rather than the light highlighting a subect. |

Red Hotby JudiComment: I rhink you used a filter on this shot to get the red hot color, but I think it also affected the skin tones too much. It's great in the background! |

Festivusby UNCLEBROComment: On the Seinfeld Episode where Georges Father talks about inventing Festivus... the tree is just an aluminum pole! (Sorry just a comment... no vote made.) |
