Hmm, I likely would not have commented on this one in a challange,
1) I also find it really dark
2) I find the subject a bit dark and disturbing
3) I am not really sure what I am looking at - but at a subconsconsious level it displeases me.

The title told me what that pink lumps were but there is no part of the image that grabs me. DOF is not enough to give the rocks in front more strength.

I don;t feel it particularly matches the challenge, I would have liked at least a title about underground river, or maybe river's roots??? or some sign of water. The picture itself has a lot of intersting textures and colors and I really like the dof. My eye keeps going to the top left corner as the lightest areas, but that is also the least interesting part of the picture.
