This is a good idea, and I like the dark background to enhance the romantic mood, but I think it may be too dark, The shaft of the fork gets lost and leads my eye to the dark area of the background on the left The sides of the bowl and support blend to much with the background

Makes me want some sushi. The sushi is very attractive. I have 2 suggestions that I think would improve this shot: 1- The window light is quite pleasing, but it needs some fill the ginger, wasabe and the front edge of the sushi seem kind of dark. 2 - A different plate with more of a Japanese style would help, or even a plain one. For me, the flowers peeking out from under the sushi distract my eye from the beauty of the dish itself.

Looks wonderful, great colors, they really jump off of ther white plate. The only problem I see is the plate melts into the background in the right rear corner and the back edge. MAYBE a background other than white would help.

Great high-key shot! The egg seems to me to be just a tiny bit crooked in the cup. Just a minor thing though

This looks really delicious and the shot is good overall, my only suggestion is that the rear part of the treat needs to have the same bright "pop" that the front part has.

I like the colors and the composition a lot here, but I think this could use some improvement on the lighting, the Tomatoes look kind of orange and the cheese and the white part of the lemon are too bright. I can't really tell exactly how this was lit, but I think if you had broadly diffused the main source and used a bit of direct light to bring out the highlights it might help.

Love the use of reflection and transparency here. This is really a good shot. The ONLY thing I would want to see is maybe some more light on the greern bottle label in the reflection, not fully lit, but just a bit more. That would bring out the contrast between the green in the label and the red of the cosmo. Then again, you might have tried that and not liked it. Anyway, good job!
