not quite sure where the moving light is ... thats the trouble with challenges like this I guess unless its blindingly obvious ... leaving the challenge description aside though the headline title "Painting with light", well you sure as heck got that ...

I really like this image and I think it captures what modern artistic photography is about ... I mean with modern cameras these days any old monkey can take a cool sharp well defined exposed image but not many people can produce something as artistic and as beautifull

its art.... the crop is great. The image is great too.

If I'm being honest the grain isn't quite working for me, dunno why though I like grain and it is good grain too -- maybe I'm a bit tired ... an image like this needs to be looked at properly and taken time over with a cup of tea or something.

Overall all I really like it.

Years ago I attended Teacher training college... I never finished - my tutor said "... you are good but you lack that indefinable something that makes a good teacher"

You reminded me of that because well you are a good photographer but you HAVE that indefinable something that makes you an artist. There are a lot of photographers like that but what stands you out is the final piece of the Gyaban jigsaw the indefinable something to technicaly execute what you envision.
